Wedding Dress Cleaning
We are delighted to offer a professional Wedding Dress Cleaning service with three affordable options to choose from.
We provide a wet wash service which is a specialised, eco-friendly process using water and gentle detergents to remove stains (sweat, food, drinks, dirt etc). For many fabrics, this can be safer than harsh chemical dry cleaning.
Our professional cleaning service includes a full inspection of your dress, expert hand-washing which prevents damage to delicate beads, lace or embellishments and finished off with steaming. This service is suitable for most bridal fabrics including satin, tulle, chiffon, lace, and beading (including dresses with dry clean only labels). It would not be suitable for silk.
Dresses can be booked in and dropped off at Carringtons Bridal Boutique or we can collect from your home if you are based in Aberdeen.

Boxing and Preservation
Why not have your dress boxed and preserved to help it stand the test of time?
After cleaning, your dress will be folded, wrapped in acid free tissue paper and packaged into a PH neutral box. This will allow your dress fabric to breath while being protected form light, dirt and dust to prevent discolouration.

Perfect for simple dresses with a small train and just a couple of layers.

Perfect for A-line and fishtail dresses with a slightly fuller skirt (2 layers of netting) or medium length train.

Double Cleaning
If a dress it particularly dirty or has been left for a very long time after the wedding, it may need a double clean. This would result in an additional fee of £49 and would be discussed when inspecting the dress.
